Assistant Technician (2 positions available)

GNB Doors is currently seeking 2 Assistant Technicians, 1 for our Cooks Creek location and one for our Brandon location. The role includes both installing and servicing overhead doors, and requires working with scissor lifts, ladders, and the ground. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75lbs and be comfortable with heights. Experience using hand tools such as drills, impacts, hammer, measuring tape, etc is also required.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service
• 2+ years of experience with overhead doors (residential and commercial)
• Willingness to learn in-depth knowledge on installation and maintenance on a variety of commercial and residential doors
• Experience with hand tools (drills, impacts, hammers, measuring tape etc)
• Able to lift up to 75lbs
• Must be willing to travel for up to one week
• Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) (Preferred)
• Fluent in English
• Valid driver’s licence, must provide a recent driver’s abstract (within 6 months)
• Clear criminal record check
